#3) Visit my new homestay

I am going to change my homestay. It is because my roomate, who was in the same homestay, and her bother were robbed near our house at the bus stop. Those robber held a gun, so my roomate and her brother gave all the things to them, but they also were hit by them. In the other day, she moved out quickly. I really like my homestay. They are nice. However, the location is not very safety for me, international student. So, I need to find another host family. This Sunday, I visited the new homestay.

I went with my friend. We met in the Northgate Transit Center. The new homestay told me to take the bus No.358, but because I need to go the Norhtgate Transit Center, so I took the bus No.41. However, there is no No.358 in there. We asked someone, and then took the other bus to 185th Ave. I need to arrive at 3pm, but we just arrived at 4pm because of waiting bus.

The new homestay are very nice too. They are also Filipino, which are same as my present homestay. They have two children, one is nine years old, and one is two years old. They also have a dog, that I really like dogs. We chatted for a while. Then, I finally decided not move in. The reason is their house is so far away from school. They also told me to think about the location, or decide to change another school which is in Shoreline. But I like to study at SCCC, so that I won't change school.

We stayed there only half hour and then leave. We took the bus No.358 to Downtown, but it took us one hour. So I cannot live in the new homestay. Then we went to eat dinner in Korean restuarant because our trip took us about five hours. We both were hungry. Today, I had taken a lot of bus, and it was so tired. Finally, I want to thank my friend, Go, for going with me today and his dinner.
